8 Week Program for 9th and 10th graders who want to get more out of their camping experience! Through supervised group leadership opportunities, an LT learns the skills and responsibilities necessary to become a peer leader and role model by participating in various camp activities. The LT develops values, environmental awareness, camping skills and the confidence necessary to make proper decisions and choices in life. Family Camp provides an opportunity for your whole family to play and grow together. It allows you to enjoy with your children all of our fun camp activities. Do as much, or little, as you please and let our great staff help you have a memorable week.
The Oak Crest LIT Program is meant to bridge the gap between camper and staff member. This program is open to raising 10th and 11th graders. The LIT participants spend most of the Summer working as an assistant counselor in our groups and also spend one week on a Leadership Training and Community Service trip of their choice. While in camp, the LITs meet each week with their supervisor for additional leadership training and direct feedback regarding their performance.
