Now in its 45th year, HCSSiM is an intensive six-week encounter with college-level mathematics for talented and highly motivated high school students. It is demanding and expanding. Participants spend a major portion of each day actively engaged in doing mathematics (not simply learning the results of mathematics). HCSSiM students live in the dorms at Hampshire College in Massachusetts for six summer weeks, and study and play in its fields, woods, and academic buildings (not typically in that order). Through this program students are exposed to a demanding academic atmosphere, and are introduced to the value and reward of pursuing advanced technical degrees and careers while developing the skills necessary to achieve success in science and engineering.

Session: MIT Online Science, Technology, and Engineering Community (MOSTEC)Start Date: 06/28/2019End Date: 01/13/2019MOSTEC is an online enrichment program that provides students with an engaging experience that extends from the fall into the early spring when they submit their college applications. Via this online community, OEOP staff provides students with exposure to MIT faculty and staff, information about admissions and financial aid tips, opportunities for discussions about science and engineering research, opportunities for mentorship and to share their own research with peers and professionals. MOSTEC students have also the opportunity to attend a week-long conference at MIT.
