Climbing the career ladder might not be easy, but if you plan ahead by picturing yourself three or more years from now can be a good start. That is when you set your goal. Gain the necessary skill sets for your goal. You can start by improving your leadership skill. This can add your value to an organization. And let’s add the cliche, be a team player. Being a team player is necessary for an organization, especially in today’s work environment. And most importantly, be flexible in any situation. Even the company is facing some problems, just stay positive. This will create an active environment that will avoid inaction within the group.

“Never waste a good crisis, if you’re thrown into it, don’t run away because it’s probably one of the best experiences you can have,” quoted by Ursula Burns, which is the most applicable words when you’re about to give up in any situations. Never take for granted any internships because you never know, like Burns, you can be the next CEO.
